SCF Music Presents September and October Performances

(Bradenton, Fla., Sept. 22, 2022) — The Music Program atState School of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will current the next performances Sept. 22-Oct.13. Tickets for every present could be bought on-line at SCF.edu/Neel or by calling 941-752-5252.

“Caribbean Rhythms” — Thursday, Sept. 22, 7:30 p.m., SCF Recital Corridor

The SCF Jazz Ensemble, director Dr. Pete Carney, and visitor artist Pablo Arencebia have fun Hispanic Heritage Month with an evening of salsa, bossa nova, tango and extra. Carney’s expertise performing with Tito Puente, Arturo Sandoval and Willie Chirino brings the flavour of Miami to SCF Bradenton for a scorching night with music from such locales as Argentina, Brazil, and Cuba. Tickets are $15 for common admission and $5 for SCF college students and employees.

“Fall Competition of Music” — Thursday, Oct. 6, 7:30 p.m., SCF Neel Performing Arts Heart

SCF music ensembles come collectively for the season’s first efficiency within the SCF Neel Performing Arts Heart. Be part of the Symphonic Band, Live performance Choir, Chamber Choir, Guitar Ensemble, Jazz Massive Band, and Jazz Combo for the annual “Fall Competition of Music.” Tickets are $15 for common admission and $5 for SCF college students and employees.  

“The Magnificent Seven” — Thursday, Oct. 13, 7:30 p.m., SCF Neel Performing Arts Heart

The SCF Bradenton Symphony Orchestra celebrates its seventh season. In honor of the event, the night’s program will embody a pair of sensational sevens. The efficiency options Elmer Bernstein’s movie rating to “The Magnificent Seven” and Ludwig Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.
